The Medallion

Another le beau sac (given name by Menaka D). Oh yes before I forget, le beau sac will be the generic name for this type of bag. This time it is made from upholstery fabric for both outer layer and lining. A mixture of turqoise blue and brown on the outside and dark brown for the inside. Great for mom, student and anyone who are in a rush. Just chuck your things in there and you are ready to go.

When I first started sewing bags in July 2008, I sew my own label like below.



Exactly a year after sewprettypink was established I now have woven label like below. For the new bags, I will start using the woven label.



Only upon request will I use the handsewn label with a fee of RM3. This is because the handsewn label takes longer time to sew.

Comparing the two labels, but I guess the handsewnn one is unique and that is what i called everything is handmade from the labels to the bags.



So excited about it can't wait to produce more bags!

I am back

Alhamdulillah I managed to complete the bulk order for my darling daughter and back into producing new designs. Give me a few days more because I am trying to rearrange my shop, if i have the time (seems 24 hours is not enough for me). The old entries on the fabric has somewhat gave confusions to some readers. I am sorry for that as I have made you drool over fabrics that is not available anymore, again I am sorry.

Like I said earlier, I have all the fabric photos, but I need to find that little time to upload into flickr. Once that is done I will feel great. From there, you can start choosing your material to mix and match. Oh no what have I just did, exposing myself to accept orders? I wish I could fulfill each and every request from you but urghhh.. there is always a BUT right? Ok, we will see how, I don't want to make empty promises. As I have replied to some of you, I sew because of leisure. I just love to see the end product by mixing and matching the colors and patterns. Converting my leisure to a major business? I don't think I am ready yet. We go slow ok.

Keeping low and more fabrics

Dear Readers,

This blog will be on hiatus for a while as I have many orders to complete. I will not be able to sew new designs and new bags maybe until end of the week. Some even requested me to post the fabric collections I have so they can pick and choose the bag designs and fabric. That is great! But I hardly have time to rearrange my blog and the pictures. I have them all in my pcs and just waiting time for me to post them in flickr. We will see how it goes as I have the duty as a mother and employee too.

Below are some photos from the project I was working on last weekend. I am still working on the orders arising from this project and will put up some for sale if I have some left.
